Manufacturing processes

The Industrias Teixidó speciality is the manufacture of precision parts with complex materials and with a geometry and finish characteristics that demand a high level of technology and technical capacity to define the process to be put into practice for each case.

Starting with this concept, the basic industrial equipment consists of automatic lathes, with both single spindle with a sliding head or multi-spindle with CNC motorisation equipped with the tooling necessary to carry out the majority of turning operations on parts of up to 20 millimetres in diameter.

Starting with the turned parts and depending upon the process established for each reference, second operations are carried out which can be:

• Finishes with Transfer machines
• Chemical de-burring
• De-burring and mechanical polishing
• Heat treatment of all types (induction, furnace tempering, sub-zero, tempering furnace, atmosphere-controlled stainless steel tempering)
• Grinding of cylindrical parts without centring, in-line one diameter shafts or various diameters with form wheels.
• Series machining of tempered parts (hard machining)
• Special surface finishes: buffing and lapping
• Surface galvanic treatments, such as chemical nickel, hard chrome, zinc plating
• Special grinding operations with our own built machines
• Cold shaping operations, such as laminating and pressing

The entire manufacturing process, defined in the route sheet is carried out at the Industrias Teixidó installations in keeping with quality control standards and with auto-inspection at each stage of the process, creating the registers for later production control and their situation in each batch in the various stages of the process in order to comply with the delivery dated agreed upon.
